The James Bond Series is like it sounds: a group of paintings about James Bond Movies. I love James Bond movies. I esp. like the space depicted in the old movies, Dr. No, Thunberball, etc. But I can’t deny my love of action, exotic locals, different modes of transportation and of course a cute man to run around in it. Most of the action in these paintings is hidden. I used glow-in-the-dark paint to depict it. I don’t know how to show that on the website. When the lights are turned off the hidden action (skier, diver, airplanes, spy-birds) glows brightly for about 45 minutes. Also, somewhat obviously, I LOVE 80’s expressionism. So these James Bond Series paintings are a marriage of 80’s expressionism and that cute Bond guy and his world. Masculine things are…yummy…
